I happened to meet Vinod Chauhan a couple of weeks before I agreed to be the Guest of Honor for his prestigious Photo Exhibition Indo Vietnam Cultural Connections in September, 2017. Seeing his work , at that time I advised him to do a photo documentation on Guru Nanak Dev ji for the upcoming 550th Anniversary Celebrations in the year November 2019. Though the job not taken up at that time , he met me much later in August 2019 and said he is now doing Photo Documentation of Shri Guru Nanak Dev ji’s Gurdwaras in Punjab with his Photo Exhibition titled, “Charan Chhoh” – Punjab , for the Parkash Utsav at Sultanpur Lodhi. My words to him at that time were – “ You were the only chosen one to do this project “ He has really done a commendable job and wish him Best Wishes in all future endeavors.
It was a matter of honor & pride for people of Malout to be a witness to “Charan Choh” – Punjab @ Malout , a Photo Exhibition on Guru Nanak Dev ji by Vinod Chauhan, on eve of celebrating 550th Anniversary of Shri Guru Nanak Dev ji. All images of 80 Gurdwaras of 70 villages traversed by Shri Guru Nanak Dev ji during his various Udasis have been beautifully captured by Vinod Chauhan an international repute Photo Artist . Also conducting the same at Malout at a very short notice is a commendable effort by the Photo Artist . Thousands of students and the people of Malout made this Photo Exhibition a place of learning and also a huge success .
